Ceist:119 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands when an appeal on the designation of lands owned by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be finalised. [20913/00]

The person named appealed informally against the designation of his lands in March 1998. The appeal was subsequently investigated and rejected. He was afforded the opportunity to have his case referred to the SAC Appeals Advisory Board. He chose to avail of this opportunity and was requested on numerous occasions to submit a map so that the appeal could proceed. This map has not been received to date. Should the landowner wish to proceed with this appeal, the map should be forwarded to Dúchas without delay.
