141 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health and Children the total number of publicly funded acute beds, publicly funded convalescent beds, and publicly funded long-stay nursing home beds in Dublin in 1990, in 1995 and in 2000. [23749/00]

The provision of health services in Dublin is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have therefore asked the chief executive officer of the authority to respond directly to the Deputy with the information requested.
