Ceist:177 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in fixing the budget for the Dublin youth services board; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23702/00]
Written Answers. - Departmental Funding.
The City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee, which has overall responsibility for the City of Dublin youth service board, was notified of the annual grant for its youth service board in May 2000. Since then, additional funding has been sought to cover pay increments in the case of a number of youth projects. This request is being actively considered at present and a decision will be given shortly.
