439 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan will have a clinical psychological assessment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24004/00]

This is a matter for the North-Eastern Health Board. I have therefore referred this matter to the chief executive officer of the North-Eastern Health Board and have requested him to reply directly to the Deputy.

440 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health and Children the steps he will take to have a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath immediately admitted to Tullamore General Hospital for a hip operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24015/00]

The provision of medical treatment in this case is the responsibility of the Midland Health Board in the first instance. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
