365 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the extent to which methane gas levels have been monitored in the vicinity of public water treatment facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25168/00]

No information is available in my Department. However, I understand that methane gas is not generated from treatment of public water supplies.
