226 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the action Dúchas is to take following a meeting that took place on 30 May 2000 with a person (details supplied) in Rathbeg; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26022/00]
As the Deputy is aware, the meeting of 30 May 2000 was arranged by officials of my Department to discuss restoration works for the damage done to the well owned by the person named.
I have been assured by the Office of Public Works that the damage done will be rectified and that the well will be returned to its original condition by the end of this week.
