48 Miss Fox asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if his attention has been drawn to the ongoing problems with regard to the swimming pool at Presentation College, Bray, County Wicklow; the steps he has taken to ensure that this pool remains safely open; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation (Dr. McDaid):

A proposal to refurbish the pool in Presentation College, Bray was submitted to my Department by Bray UDC last July. The council has indicated that there are a number of issues in relation to the proposal which require further clarification. My Department will consider this proposal further on receipt of additional information from the council.
