Vol. 526 No. 6

Written Answers. - Community Support Services.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

265 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has met with representatives of the Cork branch of the Irish Lupus Support Group, the Fibromyalgia Support Group and the Endometriosis Support Group recently in the context of providing office accommodation for these in the Cork region; and if he will provide assistance to these organisations as requested. [27360/00]

Bernard Allen

Ceist:

276 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will make funding available in order that Irish Lupus Support Group can set up an office in Cork city as they are presently operating from a member's home in order that they can provide a service to their members for reasons already outlined to him in a meeting with Deputy Allen. [27480/00]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 265 and 276 together.

I confirm that I have met the organisations referred to by the Deputy. As the issues raised are a matter for the health board, I have referred these matters to the chief executive officer of the Southern Health Board in the first instance.
