Ceist:101 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Health and Children when he will make a decision in relation to the recommendation of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health and Children report, published in October 1999, that individuals taking action against the tobacco industry should not be obstructed by the Statute of Limitations 1957 and 1991; if exploration of possible legal and constitutional implications with regard to any alteration to this statute is likely to be completed in the future; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
