134 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the numbers and rank of gardaí at Cabra Garda Station, Dublin 7; the number of gardaí available for foot patrol duties and full-time community garda activities in the Cabra and Ashington Estates area of Dublin 7. [28047/00]
I have been informed by the Garda authorities who are responsible for the detailed allocation of resources to individual areas that the current personnel strength, all ranks, of Cabra Garda station is 83. Of this number, 20 members are available for foot patrols. Of this 20, there are four community gardaí attached to Cabra and they are deployed as follows: Ashington Estate-Kinvara Estate – one garda; Dunnard Estate-Navan Road – one garda; Cabra West – two gardaí.
