My Department issued a questionnaire to all Departments on 28 September 2000 seeking information on lands and buildings to determine whether such lands or buildings can be used for housing, education, recreation or other functions for which the State has responsibility. The results of the questionnaire will contribute to the establishment by the Office of Public Works of a register of State property. Responses have been received from the majority of Departments and those outstanding have been asked to respond as a matter of urgency.
