Ceist:

137 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be admitted to the National Rehabilitation hospital in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin. [28890/00]

The provision of medical services to eligible persons is, in this instance, the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply to the Deputy directly.

138 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be seen by an ENT specialist at the outpatients clinic in Castlebar, County Mayo. [28891/00]

The provision of medical services to eligible persons is, in this instance, the statutory responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this matter and reply to the Deputy directly.

139 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will intervene on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim with St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin 4 and have her immediately called for her treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28892/00]

The responsibility for the provision of services at St. Vincent's Hospital is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority in the first instance. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him as a matter of urgency.
