248 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Limerick was admitted to Limerick Regional Hospital at 1.10 p.m. on 1 November 200 but did not reach the ward until 9 p.m. [29603/00]
The provision of medical services to eligible persons is, in this instance, the statutory responsibility of the Mid Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this matter and reply to the Deputy directly.
