Ceist:343 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if she will allocate an additional grant for a road (details supplied) in County Mayo. [29382/00]
Written Answers. - Capital Funding.
As the Deputy is aware my Department sanctioned a grant of £5,300 in 1998 to Mayo County Council under scéim na mbóithre áise to enable it to repair the road referred to by him, this repair was completed. However, I understand that the road will again be inspected by officials of my Department in the near future. The case will then be further examined in the context of other applications received and having regard to the work already done and the necessity for further improvements.
