256 Mr. Power asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress that has been made in relation to the provision of a new school for Nurney National School, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30275/00]
My Department has nominated a design team to handle architectural planning for Nurney national school. As an initial step the design team have been requested to carry out a detailed site assessment.
The project will be advanced as quickly as possible by my Department on receipt of the relevant reports from the design team.
