1105 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the total number of civil servants who are currently on the transfer list to other sections of Departments outside Dublin; the locations and numbers involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1996/01]
The total number of civil servants in my Department who are currently seeking transfers to other sections of Departments outside Dublin is eight. Some persons have applied for more than one location. One person has sought a transfer to the mid-west – Limerick or Clare – with the remaining seven suggesting a range of locations including Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Kildare, Portaloise, Tullamore, Roscrea, Nenagh, Meath, Drogheda and Dundalk.
