1240 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will approve funding for an application before his Department (details supplied); the reason for the delay in approving this funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2001/01]

The building unit of my Department is currently finalising details in relation to the purchase of land at the school to which the Deputy refers. Once the purchase of this land is complete it will be possible to progress this application further.
