136 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will give his approval to the new scheme of letting priorities devised by Fingal County Council which is based solely on length of time on the list; and, if so, when. [2649/01]
Fingal County Council submitted a fundamentally revised scheme of letting priorities for my approval on 20 November 2000 and a report on the extent and impact of the proposed changes was received in my Department on 23 December 2000. A meeting was held recently between my Department and the local authority to discuss the revised scheme and a decision on the matter will be made shortly.
