55 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if, following his discussions with Sinn Féin, he is able to report progress on the continuing injustice of those exiled from Northern Ireland, and in some instances from the Republic, by the IRA; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Government fully endorses the right of those forced by paramilitary groups to leave their homes to have the threats against them lifted and to return home and calls on all those with influence on paramilitary groups both to ensure the safe return to their homes of those so affected and to bring this indefensible behaviour to an end. Members of the Government have made this position clear on many occasions and will continue to do so.
