126 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if she has been notified of the anticipated date of the completion of the 2000 Dúchas structural survey of Moore Hall, County Mayo; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5009/01]
The consultants engaged to undertake the survey of Moore Hall are completing the engineering side of their work. I expect that the completed survey will be submitted to my Department within the next two weeks. As the Deputy knows, the survey is to provide information to the local community to assist it in the preparation of a business plan for the Moore Hall restoration project. It would be inappropriate for me to comment further on the matter until the local community's business plan has been considered.
