159 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he has received an application from a group (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if he will ensure that lottery funding is provided for this project. [5022/01]
The sports capital programme for 2001 was advertised in mid-December with a closing date of Friday last, 9 February 2001, for the receipt of completed applications.
An application for funding under the programme has been received from the organisation in question. This application, together with all other applications received, will be evaluated in accordance with the assessment criteria which are outlined in the guidelines, terms and conditions of the programme.
