Ceist:97 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has now received a report from the Medical Council on the current registration status of a person (details supplied); and if he will publish the report. [5236/01]

The Medical Council has informed me that an order was made in the High Court on Monday, 29 January 2001, pursuant to section 51 of the Medical Practitioners Act, 1978. As a result of this order the doctor named by the Deputy does not have effect in the Register of Medical Practitioners. This order is effective until 26 February, 2001. At that stage the Medical Council will inform me of further action in accordance with section 54 of the above Act.
