Ceist:166 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive a REP scheme payment. [5699/01]
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
A compensation payment for losses in 2000 arising from the devaluation of REPS payments following the introduction of the euro will issue to the person named this week. This is the only payment to which he is entitled. He has completed five years in REPS and has received payment in full in respect of these five years. My Department has not received an application for him under the new scheme which commenced on 27 November 2000.
