199 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Finance if he will investigate a flooding problem caused to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick by the overgrowth of vegetation in a river previously drained by the Office of Public Works; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5856/01]

The Office of Public Works has scheduled maintenance works to be carried out in this area during the course of this year.
