Ceist:

256 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 will receive the appropriate orthodontic care from the relevant health board in question; if he will guarantee that such treatment will be provided in the next 12 months in view of the length of time this person is waiting for treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the provision of orthodontic services to eligible persons in the Dublin area is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority, the ERHA, I have asked the chief executive officer of the ERHA to investigate the position on this case and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
