255 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of people that were approved a heating grant in 2000, under the special housing aid for the elderly scheme in the Western Health Board area, giving details for each county. [5899/01]
As the Deputy is aware, the housing aid scheme for the elderly is administered by the health boards and the Eastern Regional Health Authority on behalf of the Department of Environment and Local Government.
As the information sought is not available in my Department, I have asked the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board to reply directly to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency, giving the required information.
