374 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the capital projects funded by his Department in the Kildare South constituency during 2000; the amount of funding in each case; the projected capital projects by his Department in 2001; the amount of funding in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A number of groups and individuals in the constituency of Kildare South have received approval for capital grants under the equal opportunities child care programme for the years 2000 and 2001 up to 8 February 2001. These grants are based on applications received. Details are listed in the following tabular statement. It is not possible to project the number of capital projects which may be funded in 2001 as all applications for funding are subject to an appraisal process before a decision is taken. There is no closing date for applications for funding under the equal opportunities child care programme.
