Ceist:

406 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he will meet with the recently re-elected President of the Olympic Council of Ireland in order to plan for a more successful participation of Irish sports persons in the next winter and summer Olympics; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have already congratulated Mr. Hickey on his re-appointment as President of the Olympic Council of Ireland. Further to his request for a meeting, I have invited Mr Hickey to contact my office to arrange a suitable date and time for the meeting.
