Ceist:

319 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 202 of 22 February 2001, he will indicate the progress which has been made in recent weeks with regard to the urgent refurbishment required for a school (details supplied) in Dublin 11; and his views on suggestions that it will be necessary to move the entire school into pre-fabs while the work is ongoing. The authorities of the school in question have been advised by my Department to proceed to the next stage of the architectural planning process for the proposed extension and refurbishment works to the school. The issue of the provision of temporary accommodation for the school is currently under consideration and the school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
