111 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if final arrangements have been made for the provision of the improvement and realignment at Bond Bridge, Maynooth, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10340/01]
In April 1998 my Department approved Kildare County Council's proposal to raise a loan of £1.5 million to improve Bond Bridge, Maynooth.
The advancement of this project is now a matter for Kildare County Council, who I understand are engaged in ongoing discussions with Dúchas regarding the design of the bridge.
112 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has received any proposals and requests for funding from Kildare County Council in respect of improvement and realignment at Cope Bridge, Leixlip, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has not received such proposals.
