Ceist:

68 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Defence the number of civilians who have been employed in each of the Army command areas in each of the past ten years; the number of new crafts people and others who have been replaced over the past four years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10286/01]

The following table gives the number of civilian staff provided for at the various military locations throughout the country in the years 1991 to 2001.

Unfortunately, a breakdown of the numbers provided for in each of the Army command areas for the years 1991 to 2000 is not readily available. In the case of the current year, the position is as follows:
