134 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will arrange to have a shower and toilet installed under the housing aid for the elderly scheme by the Southern Health Board for a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11253/01]
As the Deputy is aware, the housing aid scheme for the elderly is administered by the health boards and the Eastern Regional Health Authority on behalf of the Department of the Environment and Local Government. I have asked the chief executive officer of the Southern Health Board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him as a matter of urgency.
