164 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the cost to the Exchequer of upgrading accommodation provided by Irish Rail for non-residential gate operators in County Roscommon; when it is planned to have these works completed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [11571/01]
Iarnród Éireann has advised me that the cost of upgrading the non-residential accommodation at level crossings in County Roscommon will not involve any Exchequer moneys but will be funded from Coras Iompair Éireann's own resources. I have no function in relation to this matter, which is the day-to-day responsibility of Coras Iompair Éireann.
