Vol. 535 No. 1

Written Answers - Health Centre Waiting Times.

Ceist:

277 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children the position with regard to the ongoing waiting times for treatment at a health centre (details supplied) in Dublin 12. [11366/01]

Ceist:

285 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will investigate the rising waiting times for occupational therapy at a health centre (details supplied) in Dublin 10; and the steps he will take to ensure that these are improved. [11426/01]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 277 and 285 together.

The provision of primary health services, including occupational therapy, is, in the first instance, a matter for the relevant health board. I have asked the chief executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to examine the matter in relation to the health centre referred to by the Deputy and to respond directly to the Deputy.
