167 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason the Western Health Board failed to reply to a question on foot of an earlier parliamentary question; and when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be called for orthodontic treatment, particularly as she has waited over three years on the orthodontic waiting list. [15229/01]
The provision of orthodontic services to eligible persons in County Mayo is the statutory responsibility of the Western Health Board.
I am informed by the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board, that a reply to Parliamentary Question No. 521 of 10 April 2001 was issued to the Deputy on 9 May 2001. I have requested the WHB to issue a duplicate copy to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
