Ceist:445 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands when funding for a road (details supplied) in County Mayo will be sanctioned. [16552/01]
Written Answers. - Roads Funding.
All applications for funding under scéim na mbóithre áise – accommodation roads scheme – are evaluated using the following criteria: usage; cost; necessity for improvement works; and the status of the Irish language in the area.
The application referred to by the Deputy will again be taken into account in the context of this criteria and also in the context of other applications received and the moneys available to me, when applications under the scheme are next being considered.
