535 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science when a contractor will be appointed to a school (details supplied) in County Mayo; when work will commence; and when the new building will be available to pupils. [16613/01]

My Department has advised the management authorities of the school in question to award a contract for the provision of improved accommodation. The commencement of work on site is a matter for the school authorities and the contractor.
