99 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Finance if he will make a statement on the concerns expressed by the Irish Wheelchair Association (details supplied) in the pre-budget 2002 submission; and if each of their concerns will be addressed. [19134/01]
Before every budget a great number of submissions are received from a wide variety of sources. Each of these is examined and given due consideration in the period leading up to the budget. Given the large number of submissions and the many factors that must be taken into account in formulating the budget it would be premature for me to comment on any individual submission in advance.
