I assume that the Deputy is referring to private patient income in publicly owned acute hospitals. The following table outlines the private income generated by health boards and St. James's and Beaumont Hospitals. The figures have been taken from the 2000 draft annual financial statements of boards and from the latest audited accounts of St. James's and Beaumont Hospitals.
