463 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation regarding a proposed extension to a school (details supplied) in County Cork; if he has considered this request; if so, if sanction has issued; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19563/01]

Architectural planning for the provision of an extension to the school referred to by the Deputy is progressing. However, it is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence.
