The planning section of my Department is in the process of examining the need for a post primary school in the area referred to by the Deputy. As part of this examination, my officials have consulted with planning personnel in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. Discussions have also been held with the existing post primary education providers in the general area. A decision will be made on the matter as soon as possible.
