492 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will ensure a place is found for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 6W in the school his parents had been assured had a place for him; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19848/01]

My Department's inspectorate is currently investigating this case with a view to finding a suitable school placement for the person referred to by the Deputy. As soon as the inspector has reported, my Department will be in touch with the parents of the child in question.
