Ceist:

208 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if there are plans to extend and repair Teelin Pier, County Donegal. [21697/01]

Teelin Pier is owned by Donegal County Council and responsibility for its repair and maintenance rests with the local authority in the first instance. My Department has not, to date, received any proposals from Donegal County Council in relation to this pier. Any proposals which the local authority wishes to put forward will receive careful consideration, having regard to the overall development needs of fishery harbours generally and the funding available for such works.
