377 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange to have the source of noise pollution on State-owned premises at Shanowen Road, Santry, Dublin 9, investigated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21508/01]

Minister of State at the Department of Finance (Mr. Cullen):

The Office of Public Works is commissioning an independent sound consultant to identify, monitor and quantify sound emissions from the site.

I will communicate with the Deputy when the report is to hand.
