Written Answers. - Swimming Pool Projects.
My Department gave approval to Donegal County Council in February 2001 to appoint consultants to prepare a preliminary report for the proposed development of a new swimming pool in Ballybofey-Stranorlar. The council recently submitted a consultant's brief for advice, which is being examined by our technical advisors at present. My Department will be in contact with the council when this examination is finalised.

My Department has not received a grant application under the local authority swimming pool programme in relation to a proposal to provide a swimming pool in Lucan.
