523 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has satisfied himself with the situation whereby Sligo General Hospital is without the service of a dermatologist; his plans to ensure that a dermatologist is appointed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1420/02]
Responsibility for the provision of hospital services, including dermatology services at Sligo General Hospital, rests with the North-Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this matte and to reply to the Deputy directly.
