Ceist:

546 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will arrange for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 10 to have a bone density scan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1726/02]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.

Ceist:

547 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will investigate the case of a person (details supplied) in County Carlow regarding a transfer; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1738/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services in Carlow rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the health board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
