Ceist:1258 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be granted leave of absence without a break in service contract for incremental and pension purposes. [1999/02]

The person referred to by the Deputy has been requested by my Department to submit further details regarding the educational work that she proposes to undertake on the exchange. As soon as the additional details requested are submitted to my Department the case will be examined further and the person will be advised of the position.
