Ceist:1392 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will appoint an additional remedial teacher to a school (details supplied) in County Meath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2742/02]

The school referred to by the Deputy currently has the services of a learning support, remedial, teacher post which is shared with three other schools in the area. The needs of the school in question will be taken fully into account in the event of additional learning support teacher posts becoming available for distribution.
