387 Mr. C. Lenihan asked the Minister for Education and Science his plans to allocate the necessary funding to a rural national school (details supplied) in Dublin 24 to enable improvement and security works to be undertaken; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6338/02]

My Department's building unit has recently forwarded an application form to the management authorities of the school referred to by the Deputy. When the completed application form is returned the matter will be given further consideration.
